LABORATORIES and FACILITIES
Laser Optics 1 - CW HOLOGRAPHY
Holographic set-up for recording and on-line detection of holographic gratings. Main facilities: Argon Ion Laser, 2W cw; Diode blu cw laser; antivibration equipment; on-line computer driven micropositioning, and spectrometer.
Laser Optics 2 - CW NONLINEAR OPTICS
Interferometric set-up for dynamic holography and wave mixing experiments. Pump-probe set-up for nonlinear optical characterization. Main facilities: Diode pumped NdYVO4 laser, 2W cw; He-Cd cw laser; antivibration equipment, on-line computer driven micropositioning.
Laser Optics 3 - SHORT PULSE PUMPING & TESTING
Set-up for short pulse pumping and detection. Main facilities: Nd-YAG Q-switched laser (4 ns pulsewidth), including 2nd and 3rd harmonics, high power precision optics, fast detectors, fast oscilloscope, computer driven spectrometer
Materials Preparation
Laboratory sample preparation and testing equipped with conventional instruments: UV lamp, optical microscope, spin coater, oven, etc.
